Jabari Parker exits Bucks-Suns game with sprained left knee (VIDEO)

Jabari Parker exited the Milwaukee Bucks’ Monday night game against the Phoenix Suns with an apparent knee injury. This year’s No. 2 overall pick had to be carried off by teammates.

It looked pretty bad, like it could be a torn ligament, but it looks like it’s only a sprain.

That’s not ideal for the Bucks, but it’s also not nearly as bad as it could be. Hopefully it stays that way. A lot of knee injuries are initially labeled as sprains, but we won’t know what it actually is until an MRI is taken.

It would be a shame to lose another promising rookie to a long-term injury after Lakers forward Julius Randle broke his leg in the first game of the season. You never want to see injuries happen to anybody, but especially not to somebody like Parker who is supposed to be part of the future of the league.
