Nick Johnson hits the game-winner to give Rockets overtime victory over Timberwolves (VIDEO)

Dwight Howard didn’t start Friday night’s contest in Minnesota due to the knee injury he’s been dealing with for the past seven games, and James Harden didn’t finish it, thanks to picking up his sixth foul with 1:20 remaining in regulation.

But rookie Nick Johnson was there, and in the end, that was enough to give Houston the 114-112 victory following an overtime session.

Johnson was the 42nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, and made just one of his five shots on the night. But it was a big one, coming on a drive to the basket with 0.8 seconds remaining after a drive past fellow rookie Zach LaVine.
