On paper Charlotte had a very good off-season. This was a playoff team in the East last season with a top five defense, a team that just needed needed shot making, so they went out and added Lance Stephenson. And at a fair price.
Well, that didn’t work. The Hornets have lost 10 straight and Stephenson and Kemba Walker are statistically the worst starting backcourt in the NBA. The Hornets’ offense didn’t improve, but the defense slipped and Stephenson has brought chemistry issues with him from Indiana.Which means he and most of the team are on the trade block.
In this latest PBT Extra Jenna Corrado and I discuss the fall of Charlotte, if Stephenson can be traded, and how big a blunder this has turned out to be for Michael Jordan (not that big, really).
