Dwyane Wade has missed seven games with a hamstring strain, and while Mario Chalmers played well the Heat went 3-4. Wade was averaging 19.8 points a game, shooting 45.5 percent from three and the Heat’s offense is 8.8 points better per 100 possession when he is on the court.
Meaning they could use him back — and they may get that Sunday.
From Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.
There’s a sense from some fans in Miami that if they just get Wade back everything will be fine with this team, that they will be in the upper half of the Eastern Conference and a real playoff threat. I’m not sold on that.
But they will be better.
