Derrick Rose started the Chicago Bulls’ Tuesday night game against the Denver Nuggets. He did not finish it. After playing 10 minutes in the first half, Rose did not start the third quarter and the team announced that he was out for the rest of the night with some discomfort in his left hamstring.

Rose initially strained his left hamstring on November 14 in Toronto, the latest in a series of injuries that have kept him from returning to full health after sitting out the better part of two seasons with knee injuries.
Like most of these injuries, this one is probably minor. It was described as tightness, not another strain, so the likeliest event is that he was feeling some pain and they decided to call it a night. The team has been playing it safe with the former MVP all season.
Hopefully its not anything serious and Rose will be back soon.
