Nick Young suffered a thumb injury in training camp that has kept him out of the Lakers lineup during their 1-9 start, but in his return against the Hawks on Tuesday, he helped L.A. on the offensive end of the floor enough for the team to notch its second win of the season.
Young finished 6-of-10 from the field for 17 points off the bench in 28 minutes of action, and what you’ll notice in the video clip above is Kobe Bryant passing the ball — something he hasn’t done much while Young has been sidelined.

Bryant finished with an efficient 28 points on 10-of-18 shooting in this one, and while the Lakers are still likely to lose the bulk of their games due to a league-worst defense, it was nice to see the offense clicking on this night, without Bryant trying to carry the team all by himself.
