Pacers, coming out of timeout, let Roy Hibbert attempt game-winning 3-pointer

The Pacers, trailing the Wizards by two points, called timeout with 12 seconds in overtime.

Credit Frank Vogel for drawing up a play that created an open 3-pointer. Dock the Indiana coach for that 3-point attempt going to Roy Hibbert, whose career track record from beyond the arc isn’t as bad as you would have guessed – 6-for-20 – but is still pitiful.

Safe to say, I doubt that was the play’s primary option.
