This is all a play on the GEICO “hump day” commercial, which last year the Dallas Mavericks converted into a season ticket renewal pitch with a little help. It was brilliant.
Now there’s a camel and Chandler Parsons helping with the pitch in his new home of Dallas. Meanwhile Devin Harris is now a camel wrangler.
And frankly, Dallas fans should renew. This is shaping up to be a very interested season for a Mavs team that took the Spurs to seven games in the playoffs and added Parsons. But not the camel.
