Here’s reportedly the Bulls’ trade offer for Kevin Love

I still consider the Warriors and Celtics the most likely landing spots for Kevin Love, but Golden State trade discussions have stalled and Boston lacks the established players Minnesota apparently covets.

So, there’s plenty of room for other teams – especially the Bulls, who I consider a close third – to remain in the race

Chad Ford of ESPN:

The Bulls, who are offering Taj Gibson, Tony Snell plus Nos. 16 and 19, are the latest suitors.

If Minnesota had to trade Love, that’s a decent offer. Gibson is one of the NBA’s better defensive big men and locked into a long-term, though not overly expense, deal. Snell is a good enough young player. And of course, the two picks – along with the Timberwolves’ own No. 13 selection – would help Minnesota rebuild.

But the Timberwolves don’t have to trade Love. They can keep him and try – against the odds, they know – to persuade him to stay. Considering how good Love is, I might lean that way rather than taking Chicago’s reported offer.

Minnesota can always trade Love closer to the trade deadline if it remains pessimistic about his return in 2015-16. But if the Timberwolves want to avoid dragging this out, that offer isn’t so bad.
