Through the first three quarters of Miami’s Game 3 win over the Pacers, Ray Allen had played less than 16 minutes, and was 0-for-1 from the field with three free throws accounting for his only points of the game.
Indiana apparently forgot all about him in the fourth, and Allen torched them time and again in the final period to put the game out of reach.
Allen scored 13 points while playing all but 42 seconds of the fourth quarter, and went 4-for-4 from three-point distance. The Pacers somehow kept losing him in transition, or were simply far too late in closing out on him defensively.
The last one is the best, simply because of the genuinely emotional reaction it elicited from LeBron James as he realized the victory was sealed.
