This was nasty.
Jeff Teague was a problem for the Pacers in Atlanta’s Game 1 victory, and used his speed to get to the rim essentially at will. Twelve of his team-high 19 shot attempts came in the restricted area, and he was able to convert seven of them — all of which explains why Evan Turner was racing to the basket to try to cut Teague off as soon as he made his move.
Teague used a crossover to shake Turner, and Turner just kept on running, so Teague calmly stepped back and drained the three.
The only difference between this and some similar highlights in terms of embarrassment was that Turner didn’t fall down. But Teague’s ball-handling completely fooled him just the same.
