Mavericks owner Mark Cuban fined $100K for confronting officials on the court after loss to Clippers

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has been fined $100,000 for confronting officials on the court following Wednesday’s loss to the Clippers, the league announced via official release.

As seen in the video clip above, my guys at NBA TV’s The Starters break down perfectly exactly how ridiculous Cuban’s tirade was, considering the fact that his Mavericks have twice benefited from late-game blown calls this season that have resulted in Dallas victories.

Cuban said he wanted to get fined one more time under David Stern’s regime before the commissioner hands the reigns over to Adam Silver in February, and apparently, he has gotten his wish. This makes 20 times Cuban has been fined by Stern, totaling $2 million.

Cuban immediately responded via Twitter when news of the fine was released.
