Kyrie Irving just hasn’t been himself this season — his shot has been off and with that the entire Cavaliers offense has been easier to defend.
But nothing can help a guy out of a slump like facing the Knicks “defense.”
Irving was able to get the rim but the key is he finished — on the season he is shooting 49.7 percent inside 8 feet but he was 5-of-5 against the Knicks (who sorely miss Tyson Chandler). Irving was also knocking down threes, dishing assists and generally looking like the All-Star we expect him to be.
