Down to possibly their last possession of Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Spurs put the ball in Tony Parker’s hands with a two-point lead.

Parker began the possession with LeBron James guarding him, but on a switch, Parker got a much more favorable matchup with Mike Miler. Parker couldn’t (or wouldn’t if he were trying to take time off the clock) take advantage then or once Chris Bosh switched onto him.

Eventually, with LeBron back on him, Parker nearly lost the ball, dropped to his knees while keeping his dribble alive, spun around, rose and released the jumper just before the shot clock expired.

Parker’s basket – upheld after review – with 5.2 second remaining gave the Spurs a 92-88 lead, which proved to be the final score.
