No fastbreak is safe with LeBron James on the court.
George Hill surely thought he had a sure-fire two point as he rose to the rim without LeBron directly behind him. In theory, that scenario would eliminate the possibility of LeBron making one of his signature chase-down blocks.
But LeBron hid near the sideline, essentially baiting Hill into attempting the layup, and actually raced in front of Hill to get this block. In fairness to Hill, most players can’t cover that much ground between the sideline and the hoop so quickly – let alone elevate to block the shot.
LeBron, as we well know, is not most players.
