Banged up Tyson Chandler says he’s “fine” for Game 6

No big man is going to be battling in the paint with Roy Hibbert and the physical front line of the pacers and not get a little banged up.

After the Knicks win in Game 5 center Tyson Chandler said his back and his knee were bothering him.

But this isn’t the time of year when players sit out for things that bother them, so Chandler says he is “fine” and will be ready to play on Saturday in a must-win Game 6 for the Knicks.

Both Chandler and Felton will go for the Knicks, with coach Mike Woodson promising we will again see a lot more Chris Copeland. As we should. Basically, what you saw from the Knicks in Game 5 that worked we will see in Game 6.

The biggest question for Game 6 is the status of Pacers point guard George Hill, who missed Game 5 with a concussion. There is no update on him yet, but he is listed officially as doubtful for Game 6. The Pacers were disoriented on offense without him, having 19 turnovers and 12 assists on the night.
