We told you all about the Suns coming back from 26 points down to beat the Cavaliers on Friday, in what was the largest comeback win at home for Phoenix in franchise history.

This play from Sebastian Telfair may have been a key reason that Phoenix was able to hold on for the victory.

With the Suns leading by just one after a three-pointer from Daniel Gibson, Phoenix had to get it inbounds with 13 seconds remaining. Cleveland was going to try to foul as soon as possible, so they could get the ball back with a chance to tie or take a lead depending on the outcome of two Suns free throws.

Thanks to Telfair’s efforts, 13 seconds became just 5.1 after he ran around like a madman eluding defenders to run off as much time as possible.

He made just one of two free throws, but the Suns had a foul to give, and gave it with 2.9 seconds left. That forced Kyrie Irving into a longer-than-desired three-point attempt, which rimmed out as time expired.
