Joakim Noah says ankle may be issue for rest of his career

Joakim Noah is practicing full out and says his ankle is 100 percent healthy. Finally. He’s good to go.

But ankles have a way of being something chronic for basketball players, and Noah seems to realize that could be the case for him. He was talking preventative medicine — you know, the thing your doctor doesn’t have time to talk to you about — with K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

Bulls fans, just file this away in your “something to watch” category. He may be able to train, wear a support and never have it really flare up with consistent problems. Or… well, let’s just watch and see. But the Bulls don’t really need more injury recoveries to monitor.

(By the way, that photo of Noah from media day is my new favorite. It screams caption contest.)
