The NBA season will stop for no man. Not even the president.
Barack Obama’s fundraiser game featuring a number of NBA stars (and some pretty sweet jerseys) has been postponed until the summer. The game had been scheduled for Dec. 12, which is now three days into training camps.
Tickets started at $100 and went all the way up to $35,800 (which included dinner with the players). The Democratic Party and Obama’s re-election campaign were to split the proceeds.
The game will be rescheduled for this summer. Which should still work out for him, I think we can all assume that Obama will win the Democratic nomination. The game will likely take place in late August or September, as a number of the rumored participants will be in London for the Olympics through mid-August.
