Tyreke Evans cleared to practice; return 1-2 weeks away

The Kings may get Tyreke Evans back for the final few weeks of the season.

He has been cleared by doctors to practice and his return to the team should come in one to two weeks, according to CSN Bay Area.

Evans has been battling plantar fasciitis in his left foot all season. Three weeks ago he underwent corporeal shockwave treatment. — essentially shockwaves to the foot — as a treatment for the pain, something recommended by one of several specialists he saw. Those treatments have now ended and he can resume basketball activities.

I’m not about to speculate on the effectiveness of the therapy, but we do know that the best cure for plantar fasciitis is rest, so if nothing else three weeks away from basketball should have helped.
