Another sign the Bulls are back — the legends are back hanging around.
Scottie Pippen, the Hall of Famer and six-time NBA champion, has signed on to join the Bulls broadcasting team for a regular season game then return for the playoffs, CSN Chicago announced. He will first work March 4 in Orlando, where he will join Neil Funk and Stacey King. He will then return for the Bulls playoff run.
“Scottie Pippen is most certainly one of the greatest players in NBA history whose knowledge and passion of the game is second to none,” said James J. Corno, President of Comcast SportsNet Chicago. “We’re thrilled Scottie will be on our team with Neil and Stacey for the March 4th telecast at Orlando, along with every Bulls playoff telecast on Comcast SportsNet this spring.”
Pippen has done some broadcasting since his retirement plus worked with the Lakers as a special assistant coach (teaching the team the triangle, so at least they understand it when Kobe breaks out of it).
