Video: LeBron breaks out the Stevie Johnson ‘Plaxico’ celebration

Last night Team LeBron James beat Team Kevin Durant in their flag football game. While the only score that mattered was zero torn ACL’s, it was LeBron’s team that won on the gridiron.

That included him having a pick six where he went with the Stevie Johnson ‘Plaxico’ celebration. Which we bring you now.

Next time we bring you LeBron video, we hope it involves a basketball.

A couple of the NBA’s biggest stars are not letting the end of the NBA lockout get in the way of some good football.

Kevin Durant and LeBron James will face off on the flag football gridiron Wednesday night as planned, reports Iran Winderman of the Sun Sentinel. And you can watch the game for free online.

Yes, at the very time that NBA players are being asked to sign insurance waivers to work at NBA facilities, the Miami Heat forward is following through on his challenge to Durant with a flag-football game Wednesday night in Akron.

The game starts somewhere between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern, depending on which site you check. You can watch live by just following this link.

Both LeBron and Durant had some football escapades this summer, which led to a little debate on twitter. Mix in a lockout and some egos and suddenly, you’ve got a game.

If you are looking for Heat president Pat Riley or Thunder GM Sam Presti during the game, they will be at a local church on their knees praying for the knees of their stars.

LeBron challenges Durant to a little football action

Oklahoma City Thunder v Miami Heat

We’re not going to see LeBron James ad Kevin Durant square off on the hard court anytime soon, so why not on the gridiron? Stranger things have happened.

Monday night Kevin Durant jumped into a flag football game at Oklahoma State University. If you remember, a month ago LeBron James went out and practiced with his old high school team.

When LeBron heard about KD’s night out Monday he sent this tweet.

He ment “Optimus.” Really. He corrected himself seconds later.

Anyway, it  soon led to a little challenge between the two.

And we might have a game. I’d say it all seems a little ridiculous, except for two things.

First, you can bet there are Nike marketing people figuring the best way to make this work as you read this.

Second, if this lockout drags out much longer I’m going to start rooting for this to happen. Just for the action.
