Just a fantastic video from the people at the New York Times today, breaking down the history of the crossover dribble.
This is basically a documentary on the move, going back to Georgetown where Allen Iverson learned the move and tracing it forward to today and what Dwyane Wade and other do with the move.
It’s not short, but it’s eight minutes well spent. If for no other reason than to watch Iverson cross-up Michael Jordan.
Is there a better crossover in the NBA than Derrick Rose’s?
There are some other wicked ones out there, but none better for me. This little highlight clip shows off both the crossover and the dunking skills of Rose during the Bulls upset loss to the Trail Blazers Monday.
Rose’s crossover is one move that will still draw oohs and ahhs in opposing buildings.
Fun video from the fine folks at NBA TV about Derrick Rose’s crossover, which is one of the best in the NBA.
