One of these days, Jamario, straight to the Moon

It was Cleveland’s night. Chicago made the effort, but the Cavaliers have too much.

For example, on a fast break, you best have a couple guys ready to stop LeBron James, but that opens up other opportunities.

Bulls' Derrick Rose, Luol Deng will go in game five

As expected, Chicago’s Derrick Rose and Luol Deng will play tonight in game five in Cleveland, Brian Windhost is reporting.

Not that it will help much. Last game just kind of left that taste in your mouth. But they will go.

Rose had an MRI yesterday that showed no significant damage to his ankle, just a sprain. He slept in a cast with his foot elevated, all things you try to do to reduce swelling and issues with a sprain. The kind of thing you’d miss a regular season game or two for, but not a deciding playoff game.

Deng has a sore calf and knee, but is going to play through it.

Derrick Rose a game time decision, but expect him to play

Derrick Rose sprained his ankle during game four, landing on Shaquille O’Neal’s foot. Loul Deng’s still fighting his way though a sore knee.

Both are expected to play Sunday, but both are considered a game time decision officially.

Rose missed practice Monday to have an MRI done. My guess as to what they were looking for and thinking: If he can do more serious damage, Rose sits; if it’s just a pain thing, he plays.

It’s just one more game anyway. The Cavs are up 3-1 going back to Cleveland. There’s just the formality of the game left.
