Enes Kanter is out for the Oklahoma City Thunder after punching a chair on the bench on Thursday night.
During the second quarter of a matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, Kanter was so upset that he punched downward toward the seat cushion of a chair.
When his hand landed, he could be seen grabbing at his forearm.
Meanwhile, according to Thunder head coach Billy Donovan, Kanter apparently fractured his right forearm.
Losing Kanter is a huge blow for the Thunder. He’s a spark for them off the bench, and their third-leading scorer.
If he misses and extended amount of time it could be tough for Oklahoma City, a team that struggles with its offense outside of Russell Westbrook‘s wizardry.
The team recently got Victor Oladipo back from injury and it’s a good thing, too. The Thunder are still chasing a spot in the bottom half of the Western Conference playoff race, currently sitting sixth.
OKC went on to beat the Mavericks, 109-98. Let’s hope Kanter isn’t out for long.
