that act alone marks LBJ’s career. ]]>

Why do you even ponder posting? Its not worth it for you.

]]>Sir, when I said that Kobe’s 3 pt percentage hurt the teams 3 pt shooting percentage, it was because Kobe’s 3 pt shooting percentage was LOWER than the teams 3 pt percentage as a team in those Finals.

Kobe’s 3 pt % lowered the Lakers 3 pt shooting percentage as a team. He lowered it, he hurt their team average.

Get it now? That’s what I meant by hurting the teams 3 pt shooting percentage.

He didn’t help it or raise it, but he lowered it.

Put it this way sir, had Kobe taken ZERO 3 pt shots, the Lakers would have had a HIGHER team 3 pt shooting percentage in those Finals.

Same with regular field goal percentage. He kept taking shots and missing shots. He missed 57% of his shots and only made 43% of his shots but he kept shooting and shooting.

Pau made 60% of his and only missed 40%.

Heck, Kobe barely made a higher percentage of shots than Pau missed.

Kobe was on a mission to win a Finals MVP and he wanted to show/prove that he was the man and not a sidekick like he was with Shaq.

Phil Jackson wrote about that in his book. Shaq won the Finals MVP in those early yrs, not Kobe and he wanted his so he shot and shot and shot to score a lot.

]]>Sir, I’m sorry, but Field Goal percentage is NOT an advanced stat.

Neither is 3 point shooting percentage.

It’s a fact, Kobe’s shooting percentages in those Finals games lowered the teams averages.

Oh, and he averaged over 30 points because he took so darn many shots. To average over 30 points REQUIRED him to take a lot of shots because he MISSED so darn many of them.

Pau would have averaged 30 or more points on a lot LESS shots than Kobe jacked up and missed.
