Terrence Williams, you passed the test.
The Celtics brought in the former Louisville wingman and NBA veteran, gave him a 10-contract and waited to see if he could help and provide a little depth.
The answer is yes, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
Williams got in three Celtics games for a total of 44 minutes, but they liked what they saw both in games and in practice. He’s not going to see much time, especially come the playoffs, but it’s about filling out the last couple spots on the roster with guys who can help in practice and in the roles given when called on.
This does not impact the two outstanding 10-day contracts the Celtics have to check out big men — D.J. White and Shavlik Randolph — who also are trying to earn a reserve role for the rest of the season.
