After the Celtics had done a good job taking the ball out if his hands in the first half, Dwyane Wade was involved in two key plays in overtime that helped earn the Heat their 115-111 win. One was the and-1 on Kevin Garnett above, an acrobatic bit of body control. And, arguably, an offensive foul the way he led with his leg. It’s a 50/50 call and that nearly always goes to the aggressor (especially at home).
Wade also got away with a foul, too. He hit Rajon Rondo in the head and fouled him on a layup attempt. But there was no call. That was the play that opened the door for Wade’s drive above to be the dagger.
